I recently (today, September 21, 2005) found a site that provided a list of
'file extensions' and the type of information/application that they are used
with. It is real extensive and I don't believe that any extensions are left
out.

The website is:

http://webopedia.com/quick_ref/fileextensions.asp

It is well organized and answered a number of my questions.

It does not show what the file structure it self is, but might help someone
who is looking for the 'file structure' with a place to go to get the file
structure.

Hope that this will help someone.

I am putting the address in my 'favorites'/'bookmarks' as a reference
