In our area I doubt it. The three hurricanes did a lot of damage to
roofs, knocked down trees, and blew debris about, but the major
benefactors of their visits have been residential building contractors
and tree services. If anything, I believe the spike may be due to the
fact that many companies held off hiring last year to clean up damage
after the storm.
We did not face the same scenario as 'Nawlins' where the entire metro
area will likely have to undergo a massive re-planning and
re-development program.
