Depending on how much money this guy has.... :-)....
Adobe's LifeCycle product line might be for him.
XML-generated forms are presented to the site visitor as a PDF page that
they fill out. That page can be digitally signed and sent to a database, as
well as mined for the actual content of the fields. Probably a Java app to
do that. I'm not clear on what the innards are.
Hmm... J2EE J2WE ?
A guy in our office is just looking at the Adobe stuff, because we want to
integrate our security/encryption appliance with the Adobe ware.
It might be worth a call to Adobe, just to see what they recommend.
