Hi everyone,

First, many thanks to those of you who have responded to my earlier posting
by completing the visual communication survey.

Next, just a reminder: the survey is still open for data collection at
https://survey.vt.edu/survey/entry.jsp?id=1094067770774

I am hoping this (gently nagging) email will encourage more of you to
complete the survey...

Thanks,

Eva

Hello all,

As someone who is both a practitioner and a teacher of professional
communication, I am writing to request your responses to a brief set of
questions about visual communication in the workplace.

There has been a great deal of discussion about the ways in which the role
of the professional communicator has changed. In particular, there is a
sense that aspects of visual communication which previously were not the
domain of the tech writer now are part of that writer's job
responsibilities. The goal of this project is to assess the extent to which
such a shift has taken place. I would be more than happy to share the
survey results with any of you who are interested.

The survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete, can be
accessed at https://survey.vt.edu/survey/entry.jsp?id=1094067770774 .

If you work as a professional writer/communicator, your input would be very
helpful. Thanks very much!

Eva
