What was the scarey part, at least for me, is that this wording
does not represent "obfuscation," a deliberate attempt to cloak
meaning, but rather is a fairly accurate mapping of way the
people who write these things actually think and communicate.

What's makes it scarey for me is that understanding the way
these folks think may be a step along the path to thinking that
way myself...
