Well, according to Yves's subject line, the context here is a procedure.
There shouldn't be any issue of not "caring" to expand the folder.
We're talking about following instructions here, folks.

But I also prefer option [B] because it focuses on the purpose or
result of the step rather than the mechanism for accomplishing it,
which may be very familiar to your users.
