Sounds like AZ is pretty close to NM in how they handle unemployment claims. Must be a desert thing...maybe the lack of humidity.

Not in the PHX valley! What with the rich folk insisting on putting in
patches of lawn, the 100,000,000 million golf courses, and the entire
desert being paved over, the humidity in AZ is nearing that of
summertime in FL.

In the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area, there is so much irrigation in the new subdivisions that the Rio Grande ran dry last year just sound of the city for nearly 20 miles, and they're not stopping development. Before I left, a new road was punched through a petroglyphs heavy ridge so more homes could be built on the west mesa....i.e., increase the westward march into the desert. It raises the question, where are all the tarantulas, snakes, cockroaches and scorpions going to live other than under the new hot tubs? Don't get me wrong, Albuquerque/Rio Rancho was one of the best places I ever left, and I can't wait to never vacation there.
