nom*i*nal adj. (grammar)
--Of or relating to a noun or word group that functions as a noun.

nominalize \nom"i*nal*ize\, v. t.
--To convert into a noun.

I've always found it amusing that the verb to describe the process of
turning a noun into a very is an example of itself.

One of the things I find most irritating is the current practice of
turning non-verbs into verbs ("texting," for sending text messages,
"productizing,"
for advancing a concept to a completed product, etc.)

On a positive note, it has been some time since I last heard anyone say
"paradigm," or "taking it to the next level."
