If we do our jobs well, we always hope that our work is transparent to the end user. But not transparent to management!
You could use that to inform the offending email sender, or email the group yourself, to humorously remind them of your contribution.

"As technical writers, we always hope that the work we do in creating the manuals will be transparent to the end user. Apparently, we have succeeded admirably! Kudos to everyone on the team. -- From your invisible but happy technical writer."
