I immediately saw a hollow bullet in Wingdings, character 0xA1 (lowercase i) and its neighbors, including 0xA7 (§). There's also 0x6C (lowercase l "el") and its neighbors. Zapf Dingbats isn't nearly as good, but you still have the choice of lowercase "el" or lowercase "n".

In <sigh> MS Word, the bulleted lists natively use solid round bullets for outermost level, hollow round bullets for second level, and solid square bullets for third level.

I'm using FrameMaker (7.2) on Windows XP, publishing as PDFs, and am seeking similar bullet characters. I have explored the native Wingdings and Webdings and poked around Adobe's fonts (like ITC Zapf Dingbats) to no avail.

What must one do to produce at least solid and hollow forms of bullet for nested bulleted lists in FrameMaker? Lowercase 'o' is not centered.
