There exist very few "standard" defects for any aspect of any product.
What is considered a defect in a VW Phaeton certainly isn't the same as
what is considered a defect in a VW Lupo, Polo, or Golf. The acceptable
bounce and noise of a Smart car is show-stopping defect in an M-Class.
What passes as extraordinary journalism and writing for the Enquirer
wouldn't pass muster at the Post (then again ... lol).
"Quality" is subjective. The "Sixth Sigma" is not in relation to an
absolute measure or standard point. It's in relation to your target
definition of "perfection" or in most cases, your realistic expectations
of acceptable.
