I'm afraid I don't get the point of that. "Unfiltered" by what --
knowledge? Is that supposed to add value?

The question is one of meaning. Geoff Hart had it right: pick a
dictionary and look up the words. You'll find that "ensure" is right. If
that's not satisfactory, try a thesaurus.
