I am pretty sure you'd have to use VBA and macros and such to catch and
replace the Word print command. For an example of intercepting a Word
command using macros, look at page 208 (Hack #61) of Word Hacks by
Andrew Savikas. The user could get around this in several ways, the
simplest being screen prints.

Why not put the copyright notice in the footer? Or a compact version of
it if you lack space? Or in a watermark?

Or distribute the doc in an unprintable form (PDFs can be set up to
forbid printing without a password).

What is the actual goal here?
