Like Dick, I'm hoping that both the thread and the formal feedback to the proposal continue.

I'm working on a gig where a sysconfig and sysops manual are two bullets on a long project plan.

NO doc process, not template, no style guide, and lots of "why do you want to do it THAT way?" questions.

So an imperfect draft standard can still save me LOTS of debating time with Developers and sys admins that I would rather spend on writing.
