Susan, you are right that sharing answers helps us all. I think you just missed the last part where Suzanne says she's on digest. She didn't actually say "reply privately", though often that's the way we take it. We would all be more specific and clear if we said "Please use "Reply All" as I am on digest". Reply All gets a message right back to the poster, and to the list as well. It can be quite a while before digests are sent, depending on how they are set up. Some go at a specific time of day, others only when a specified threshold of number of messages is reached.
