The functionality you seek was added in version 8.1. Time for an upgrade.
Or at least download the free trial.

You select the multiple section by holding the ctrl key, which incidentally
constrains your object to perfect shape, i.e, if you are using ovals your
second, third, etc. area will be a cirlce.
