Got it. Luckily, the new rev of the manual was mostly the previous rev
with some updates. I'd only done one chapter so far, so the images for
the new rev totaled about 15 or 20. I renamed the directory that the new
images were in.
* The existing (earlier rev) images are in another directory that
won't be renamed.
* Then, I right clicked on the missing (flagged) images in the
navigator and hit Browse.
* Browsed to the correctly named directory and that was it.
It remembered that directory for all the subsequent ones, so it
was a matter of a right click on the image, left click on Browse, and
hit [Enter}.
Two days to figure it out, 13 seconds to do it. :-)
If we weren't so anal, this wouldn't have been an issue.

Mike,
Regarding your Ventura question, there might be an easier way but here
is how I remember doing it (I don't currently use Ventura so I'm going
from memory here):
* Open the navigator and open a chapter. Files with invalid paths are
highlighted.
* Select the first 'bad' file reference, right click and browse for the
correct location.
Hopefully all the reference go to the same new location.
* Select the next 'bad' file reference, and browse only now the last
selected location is already entered.
You can work your way through a 100 or so bad refs pretty quick, I
never had enough to justify writing a macro or ventura script but you
could do that too I suppose. Corel has a Corel newsgroup that is very
active and helpful, you could try there for more information (maybe a
better way to do it). The newsgroup is accessible through the
www.corel.com support link.
