Hi Prashanth,

The triangle is solid color that contrasts with the background. The exclamation mark is a "knockout" where the solid color is removed to show the background color. So, the triangle is inked with the contrasting color, the "!" is not.

Here's a link that shows examples of the proper use of colors. They also give basic information about the ANSI standard.

Sorry for asking a dumb question, but if the exclamation mark is the same
color as the background, then how will the reader know an exclamation exists
in the graphic? Are you suggesting that using the exclamation mark in
attention-getters is redundant?
