For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I have a pair of headphones and I take advantage of our local radio in SC. There's alt rock, hip-hop and a station that is an eclectic mix of hits & B sides from the last 40 years.
If I had an mp3 player, it would be a lot of New Order. Dinah Washington. Brit 60s-70s rock. Jazz divas of the 30s. 311. the Guess Who. Some soundtracks that offer a mix, like "Rushmore". Astrud Gilberto. Alison Krauss. Simon & Garfunkel. That's not all but I dont want to take the entire workday. Even if it is a Friday.
PS-No window here. Just fluorescent light.
