Once upon a time, I used to write poetry. Fortunately I'd learned
better by the time I started my technical authoring career. These days
my spare time is far better spent figuring out how to work the Sirius
Cybernetics Corporation's motto into our marketing docs.

I did once work with someone who is now a published children's author.
She was... well... a technical author, basically. Neither better nor
worse than any other.

Pity, really. I feel our documentation could have done with more
flights of fancy*.
