With all due respect, since when does reproduction
equate with "social conscience?" Child rearing is a
necessity, yes. Someone has to take enough time away
from work to care for the babies. But that's not the
same as doing something for the betterment of human
society. I certainly haven't noticed any risk of the
world running short of babies lately. :-)
