Comcast's free web space, as near as I can figure, is limited to their

You can FTP into your comcast account(s) web space.

It appears you're set on Dreamweaver and a host to be named later.
That is great.

Al G. and others mentioned Wordpress, and other LAMP possibilities. Of
course these lead one to Linux hosting.

Dreamweaver is a standard, but most of us would settle for CoffeeCup,
Nvu or one of the other simple applications. I've used Netobjects
instead of Dreamweaver. However I've done more sites with Wordpress,
Joomla, Mambo.

The best application or approach depends on the individual site
builder's expectations. For instance, are you interested in learning
more about LAMP. Then you'd go with a PHP solution. If you're a
designer, you probably will go with Dreamweaver or Front Page.

Good luck with your site. Domain + hosting should be less than $60. If
something is free, there is a reason. Buy your domain from a registrar
(like Directnic) and get your hosting elsewhere.
