As for your request for a more powerful search engine, don't forget that you
can always use Google and restrict your search to the techwr-l site.

In a Google search box, enter your search term, followed by site:
www.techwr-l.com. So to search the Techwr-l archive for messages about Word
and moving graphics, you might try the following Google search:

Word graphics moving site:www.techwr-l.com

... which returns 356 results. Now you would just narrow your search terms
to get fewer relevant results.

If you don't like the site's built-in search enginge, Google is a handy
alternative. I'm sure other search engines have similar features.

Best wishes,

Thanks for the helpful responses, everyone. I'm getting "Word
Annoyances" and "Word Hacks" immediately. And, yes, Dan's solution is
exactly what I needed. (I misunderstood "inline" and assumed it somehow
always involved run-in text. If' I'd thought a little harder, I'd have
realized that wasn't very likely . . . although anything is possible
with Word.)
