Talk about speaking too soon.  I was just 
approached by one of our SW managers who
had attempted to update a FM doc that had
been created by a long-gone contract 
writer.  He had added a new chapter by 
inserting an edited copy of an existing 
chapter and had tried to update the 
paragraph autonumbers.  Took me a good 
half hour to find where he had munged up 
the chapnum variables and get the paragraphs 
to autonumber correctly again.
