I recently completed a gig where most of the people that I worked with were
22. This company snatched people right out of college. At times, I
seriously felt like a high school principal.

The most rewarding contract was the one where most of the developers were
40-60 years old. These guys knew things that most younger programmers could
only dream of, and they weren't talking about how much partying they did the
night before.
