As has been discussed here, it seems that the outsourcing of recruiters has
become very popular. I've received dozens of calls from people who sounded
like they were very far away, but only verified that one recruiter was
calling from India. That conversation made me chuckle:

"Hello, Jim?

"Yes"

"I have a very exciting contract in San Francisco"

"Oh, I can't relocate to San Francisco. I need to stay in the Los Angeles
area"

"So you are not interested in this contract position?"

"Well, it sounds great, but the distance is too great"

"Then you need to specify that in your Monster.com profile"

"Um...I think I did. It says that I can commute up to 50 miles"

"Then you need to specify that. So I will mark you as declining this
opportunity?"

"Let me check eBay first to see if I can get a helicopter cheap"
