I don't know if this is the right answer or not, but I'll take a stab at
it. I would like to get ideas re: how list members would answer this.

First, I would use the source documents to locate every instance of the
word "Linux" or any reference to the functionality. My assumption is
that this would be where the doc was written in a format like,
"If you are using Windows, do this.
If you are using Linux, do that."
kind of format where it'd be reasonable to come up with a count of how
many references are going to be wrong. Say that takes 10 minutes to
search the source docs.

In the remaining five minutes, I'd go to the System Requirements section
of the docs or any 'major' places where Linux is discussed (based upon
the count on the first 10 minutes) and edit the text to not have
reference to the Linux functionality.

I'd also find out if the person who said "Linux isn't supported" was
talking about that functionality in the build the next AM or if they
were talking about a project that is slated for a future release.

I'm basing my answer on when we dropped support for the Opera for our
browser-based apps. I looked for "Opera" and removed/changed the
sections that had referred to it.

"It's Friday afternoon, your four 200-page document PDFs are on the

Saturday morning, and you heard that Linux is now not supported. Tell me
what you do in the first 15 minutes."
