I use Firefox, but I keep Internet Explorer updated to prevent security
problems. That's why I installed IE 7, even though I don't plan to use
it to surf.

I run SpyBot, which informs me when a program or site attempts to change
my Favorites list. That's how I found out that the IE 7 installation
attempted to delete the Dell links that my laptop came with.
