This story brings up a good point. With some companies, the hiring
process simply takes a loooonnnnggg time. I know as a job seeker we
want instant feedback as to whether we are going to be offered the
job, but on the other side it doesn't always work that way. (One
interviewer recently told me that the process could take weeks or even
months, and that one of the steps was to get approval from the CEO's
office--and this is not for a particularly senior position.)
