Yes - thank you notes are probably alien to our Indian (Asian) culture; I
have never heard of this measure being taken by any candidate, nor have I
received such a note when I've been on the hiring side. Cellphone protocol
also differs hugely (possibly by the major lack of the same) :-P but I have
certainly learnt a lot about US/UK etiquette and protocol in this thread!
