We're digressing from the original topic, but what the heck--it's Friday 8^)

Sucessful members of any work group must be able to work effectively with others and take directions (this is the kindergarten "plays nicely with others" checkbox). It's a fundamental skill. I don't think the original test was intended to test whether the applicant could follow directions, but it has that effect. Frankly, some of the hypothetical responses in this thread would not have passed in my book.
