I haven't joined the STC yet, because I'm waiting to see if my company
may reimburse me for the membership. (That and I've spent too much
money this month on gifts.) Given that NW Arkansas is home to Tyson,
J.B. Hunt, Wal-Mart, and a lot of vendors who have large satellite
offices near Wal-Mart's HQ in Bentonville, I'm puzzled that we don't
have a chapter here. I assume those companies and others in the area
employ many technical writers.

Is there anyone on the list who might be interested or know of anything
concerning STC? The nearest chapter is in Little Rock, and no offense
to anyone who lives in Little Rock, but I don't feel like driving there
for meetings.

And no Arkansas jokes, please, even the ones that are more or less true.

Thanks,

RGBrasel
