2. Maybe. If you have a formal written offer letter in hand, you may relax a bit. But only a bit. Keep your eyes and ears open, but I often scale things back a little, trusting soul that I am.

I've been 'dangling' for a few weeks as promises slowly turn into actual contracts. My gut is that they will pan out, and all signs are that they will. But I keep my eyes open.
