Captivate echo problems

I'm currently editing a half-hour-long presentation in Captivate, but
the output has developed a couple of interesting 'features'.



Firstly, it's acquired an interesting 'echo' effect on a couple of the
slides.

Secondly, if I skip (or drag the slider) forwards, the audio disappears.



I know I've seen the first bug before, but I can't for the life of me
recall how I fixed it, if it did. Can anyone help?
