Kimberly. We produce documents for software that can be for one or
more OS (Win2000, Win2003, Linux, HP-UX, Solaris)
We use a combination of things.
- We DO use BASEDIR when we can, for the path
- We use conditional settings for content and paths. We have to,
since some of our products run on all OSs, and some run on specific
OSs.
- We use UNIX as a default, though this is slowly changing to a Win
default.
