I disagree. There was a thread several months ago about starting a tech
writing blog, and a number of members use blogs both to promote tech writing
and to promote their company's technical documentation products. By
understanding how to keep those blogs free of popups and hijacking, you
would be helping them in their work.
Then again, that's just my opinion, and that plus a buck fifty will get you
a cup of weak coffee at your local greasy spoon.
Incidentally, I don't have a blog, but I do create websites.
