Understood.
Initially, I thought there was a good specific reason for wanting TIFF,
such as CMYK support.
However, if you just want a raster format that you can share, move to
PNG. PNG will give you smaller files.
Quality between GIF and TIFF is the same. GIGO. Pixels are pixels. The
only difference is, GIF supports fewer colors. But, it sounds like
precise color reproduction is not needed and a palette might work.
