Hi,
Are you really "thinking about using expandable text in Framemaker" or
are you thinking about using expandable text in your deliverable?
Is your deliverable a FrameMaker binary (FM) file?
Is your deliverable HTML?
If the latter, then you need to find a way to integrate expandable text
into your HTML, right? Perhaps you can do this with some scripting and
such. The way I would do it is to use FM in conjunction with the full
version of WebWorks Publisher to produce my HTML output. However, you
might be able to use the JavaScript along with Mif2Go to get that to
happen, but I'm not sure.
Cheers.
Sean

Subject: Expanding text in Framemaker
Hi,
I'm thinking about using expandable text in Framemaker. I have Goggled
and found that other tools can do it, but nothing with FM. Has any one
ever tried it?
I am creating the chm using Mif2Go and also generating PDF output. Would
expanding text work with CHMS and PDFs? http://www.indoition.com/en/007.html states Mif2Go has "no built-in
support for some advanced online-help features such as expandable
sections".
