Doc versioning/diffs in Sharepoint

Hi All

My company is currently using ClearCase for document storage and
versioning. This is not a good choice in my opinion. Fine for code but not
for documents.

I am looking into SharePoint as an alternative. Does anyone know if
SharePoint allows comparison between different versions of office
documents (most importantly word docs). I know it tracks versions but I am
not sure that it does diffs.
