Re: User Guide or User Manual
In my experience, they're the same thing -- the "user guide" being a more
recent moniker. Both are restricted to using the product. I do think "user
manual" is fading away. It doesn't trip off the tongue as nicely as "user
guide." It's got a better cadence.
I agree. Further, I cannot recall ever seeing a product with both a User's Guide and a User Manual in its documentation set simultaneously--only one and later the other, and then only by accident.
