Re: Protecting Parts of Documents in Word
I know a document can be protected against people adding Styles, but can I prevent users from working on particular sections? For example, completely ban them from editing the footer/header, a certain page, etc.
About preventing editing of the header/footer, this may help:
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customization/ProtectWord2000PlusHeader.htm
About the certain page part - sorry, no idea. As you say, the Protect
Document options in Word (2003) are pretty limited.
Regards,
Ed.
