Hey List,

I just jumped into a new job (yea me) and discovered
that the former tech writer had not protected any of
the documentation before she fled. Now I am facing
hundreds of manuals the need to be "Password[ed] to
Modify" You know the routine: file>save
as>tools>general tab>enter p-word twice>ok>save.

UGH! Is there a shortcut to get me at least as far as
the p-word entry screen? If not, anybody have any
good VB code? I tried recording a macro but get
snagged when I hit the P-word entry screen. I can't
stop recording the macro. Is it my imagination or am
I paid about 70% of my salary for patience alone?
