(1) Don't use Google as your only search engine. Yahoo still works
nicely, as does Windows Live and Ask.com, but there are also
metasearch tools like Dogpile (http://www.dogpile.com/) which will
return results from Google, Yahoo, MSN Search, etc. with a single
query.
