I see I wasn't entirely clear in my explanation. Sorry--put it down to
frustration and an early and VERY rainy morning.

I'm trying to tell people how to fill in some information in a Word file,
and the placeholder text has been highlighted. I can't make any changes to
the Word file in question, which means no keyboard shortcuts, styles, or
macros are possible.

More than likely I'm overthinking the issue. There just aren't too many
people here who are interested in customizing their Word toolbars (I'm the
only one I know of who has). It just irks me that there isn't anyway to do
this in Word without either using the Formatting toolbar or having to do
OTHER customization work.
