Hi Barb,

I've worked as a trainer in the past. In fact, the quality of my
training notes actually secured me my first position as a technical
writer.

I don't know of any specific lists for technical trainers, but you may
find the UK's Institute of IT Training website www.iitt.org.uk useful.

Hope this helps,

Kind regards,

Katherine

Subject: Technical trainers?

Hi fellow whirlers,
I have been a longtime lurker who throughly enjoys the discussions here.
I was wondering if there are any TWs out there who serve as technical
trainers in their positions? I've been a Technical Communicator/Writer
for over 15 years, and in my current position I am the corporate
software trainer in addition to documenting for IT. Does anyone know of
a listserv for technical trainers?

TIA

Barb Coleman
