selectively focus on and quote enough to support your own pet rant
about a tangentially-related peeve?
Anyway, since you apparently possess knowledge that is far beyond what
us ordinary mortals possess, perhaps you could tell us: Is there a way
of marking up text with DocBook, and then rendering with a particular
toolchain+stylesheet to produce an effect similar to that of a callout
in Word or Frame?
