I don't think it's ever been a specific part of our work
to proof these.  In every company I've ever documented
SW for, we just submitted issues we saw with them as 
we worked with alpha and beta builds for documentation
into the bug tracking system and they were evaluated and 
implemented just like any other issue submitted.
