As much as I'd like to choose one tool, stubbornly stick to it and make the
world conform to my preferences I think the real-world marketplace makes it
a better choice to be able to be productive with a variety of tools and not
try to impose our preferences on our employers/clients. If we're in a
position where our input is valued and we're offered the opportunity to
participate in tool choice by all means we should make our opinions known.
However, we should also be open-minded and willing to consider other tools
as well, informing our decisions by the needs of the specific
employer/client rather than by our own preconceived notions.
