I am pretty sure all of these are listed as new features for InDesign
CS3. It seems as if Adobe has been reading the forums, newsgroups, and
mailing lists. They seem to have gone one step further for conditional
text. We will be able to write little scripts that decide what to put
in and custom build certain parts of a document based on variables.
This is much better than simple leave in or take out decisions.
