The development department I document refers to Web applications, to
differentiate from desktop applications or Windows applications. I have
not heard of any confusion or correction regarding "Web application"
from our customers.

Hello all,
My company is launching a web "application" but Engineering doesn't want
to call it an application because they're saying that it's really just a
web site and that IE is the application. What do others writing for the
web call their "applications"?
